Hi, I’m Siddhant.

Founder of Vesper, and for now everything else too.

I’m a CSE student exploring entrepreneurship and trying to build something that matters.

When I started making projects and experimenting with ideas, I loved the process. I enjoyed building things and trying things that were different from what my peers were doing. But somewhere along the way, I started feeling that I’d lost sight of something important: human connection.

It’s not that I don’t have friends. It’s that I’ve wanted the kind of connection where I can be myself, share what I’m feeling, and not feel like I have to keep parts of myself hidden.

And I know many people struggle with loneliness in their own ways. Being constantly connected online doesn’t necessarily mean feeling close to someone.

That’s why I started Vesper.

I want to explore whether we can make it easier for people to find genuine, lasting friendships. I don’t know exactly what will work, or where this experiment will lead. I’m starting with a community, meeting people, trying things together, and learning as I go.

I don’t have everything figured out. I just think this is worth trying.

What I’m doing right now

  • Talking with people about how they make, and lose, friends.
  • Growing the Discord into a place worth coming back to.
  • Running small, hand-made experiments before writing any software.

Say hello

The Discord is where I spend my time — and the door is open: the Join the Discord button on the homepage takes you straight in, no form in the way. If you’d rather follow the software side quietly first, the waitlist is there too. And if you’d like to see what else I make, my personal site is below.
